My Story
A well-travelled, animal and nature loving enthusiast, although not yet at the tree hugging stage! Realising several years ago that for me, kindness and authenticity take priority over landing the biggest fish.
Sometimes we need a little help to move forward in life, not realising how many plates we are spinning and when some of the contents have become unmanageable. Years ago, my mental health plummeted due to circumstances in my life. I became withdrawn and isolated myself from family and friends, feeling hopeless, unworthy and a failure.
Counselling was my saviour. Sessions taught me how to view and manage situations in different ways, recognise my strengths and offered me the tools and confidence to turn things around.

My role is to help you examine what your spinning plates hold and by working together, challenge and organise the contents in ways which are more manageable, adapting them to your benefit.
It can be so overwhelming for some, to reach out for help and then struggle to find the courage to even turn up to a counselling session!
If we take a leap of faith, the benefits can be literally life changing.

My Experience
I work with different cultures and religions in the UK and overseas. My clients include adults and teenagers who seek help with a variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, boundaries, lack of confidence and self-harm. I specialise in domestic and sexual abuse.
For 4 years I volunteered as a counsellor for the YMCA. Currently, I counsel young people in school from Y7 to Y11 and work online with adults for an international counselling platform. My approach is calm, patient and kind.
